Some facts about Paul Celan

The importance of the poet’s legacy allows placing him alongside Hölderlin and Rilke as one of the most prominent German language poets in the recent history. Despite complexity of his poetry, the number of critical and research works about Celan is estimated more than six thousand works.

Celan’s Garden installation is largely attended at the Jewish Museum in Berlin.

His Death Fugue was read in Bundestag on the 50th anniversary of the Crystal Night.
